September 26, 2015Mumbai may have found itself in the news for all the wrong reasons, a couple of times in the recent past but the city has never truly lost its religiously tolerant inherent nature in reality.While politicians and ethinic groups keep clashing over non-issues briming with communal hatred, Mumbaikars almost everyday serve us with a heartwarming and inspiring piece of communal harmony.Today it was the turn of a Ganpati Pandal in Colaba region of the city, which acted as a makeshit venue for eid namaz as the devotees exceeded the space available at a nearby mosque.The heartwarming image, originally posted by Mumbai: MERI JAAN Facebook page, of a hundreds of namazis filling up a Ganpati Pandal will surely make you ask, "Why do we even think about differences?".
