24 Gayatri Mudras of Sandhyavandanam

Sandhyavandana vidhi as per vedic texts includes 24 gayatri mudras supporting which the following mantra is quoted

"Chaturvinshati mudraavai gayatryaam sputhisthitaaha: : iti mudraa najanaati gayatri nishphala bhavet":

Which means that if you don't perform these mudras during gayatri japam your act of Sandhyavandana gayatri japam is rendered "nishphalam" null/void.

Any comments on this, as i guess people hardly do this currently.

While performing deva pooja, especially Srividya pooja,different mudras are shown Could anybody aware of this kindly explain the mudras and their significance.

Mudhra vidhanam book is there published by Ramakrishna mutt. chennai. You can see many mudras in it. also in some website also it is there. kinly see old threads. Devimandhir mudhras or some thing like it.
