1st Varshabdikam

Hello, I live in the US, and my father's 1st varshabdikam falls between August 18-20 (Unam, Adikam and Subhasweekaryam), and unfortunately I'm unable to find more than 1 vadhyar to perform. However, three vadhyars are available during the amavasya period - Sep 5-7, can I perform the 1st varshabdikam during that period? Also, I'm unable to visit India due to the covid situation and my older brother is performing there as well.
