Unless govt stops running after growth and gets inflation -specially rural retail inflation under control , we are in real danger of increasing our poverty numbers.

Lot of lower middle class are propped up to stay above poverty line thru state intervention..

That suits the state as they are their vote banks.

By periodically providing freebies, they get their votes.

No one wants rural prosperity or poor states to come up.

They are manpower banks for well off states.

How will we get these workers for a song if migration of these poor to other states is stopped?

Tamilnadu ,punjab, haryana delhi have huge number migrant workers from BIMARU states.

If they vanish ,economies of these states would collapse

I think the poor of all states are migrating to greener pastures..I have seen daily wagers from TN working in Delhi for various contractual work...For timely completion of projects & avoid labor problems it is always better to bring labor from outside state...Incidentally Bihar is witnessing an average growth of 10.5% in last 10 years which is commendable! No more part of BIMARU
