Don't think it will happen. Whats app has eaten up business of major mobile operators by providing free message and calling services. Possibly this could be a ploy to malign Whats app by these operators. Our taxi/auto walas are also trying various plots to malign app based taxi services like Ola/Uber etc as they provide cheaper options to the commuters.
