THE GREAT HINDU TRADITION

Here is a book on our Rituals and Heritage. This book has an insight into our Vedic principles in addition to hundreds of FAQs. This book was released by Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati at Chennai and it is in great demand especially amongst the youth in India and abroad.

"Dilip", a journal from Mumbai which is devoted to Religion and Science , says in its Book Review about the book 'The Great Hindu Tradition':

"....The essence of rituals, their primary significance, the practical aspects and the required attitude of the performer have all been very nicely brought out in modern idiom by the learned author Sri Sarma Sastrigal.

The book has several chapters on subjects that include:

1) About Vedas
2) Significant rituals
3) Apara Karma and Sraaddha
4) Hundreds of FAQs on daily rituals and culture etc etc.

This comprehensive volume also has exclusive chapters on revered Maharishis and Mahabharata.

There has been a great demand for such books among Hindu community people settled abroad particularly those above the age of 30 years. This book will certainly help to know about Hindu hoary heritage. It may not be an exaggeration to say that this book will make the younger generation of the community to realise the intricacies of the Vedic way of life.....'''
