All of us know that in astrology we give importants so Navagragam i.e Surya Bagawan,Chandra Bagawan, Guru Bagawan,Kethu Bagawan,Butha Bagawan, Sukra Bagawan, Rahu Bagawan, Sani Bagawan and Sevvai Bagawan.

Through this blog kindly advice how to appease each graham when they are not in the right position in one's chart.Eventhough there are several website about parigaram it varies from website to website.

If You visit Kumbakonam or in and around that temple city or navagraham temples , there is a young well educated , decent brahmin driver who do the great service in taking people to these places. Since he is a brahmin he also know the other important places , temple timings, rush hours based on the days of the week etc where you can have good food, etc . His name is Shriram Iyer and his mobile +91 9445786628; +91 9789864464. You will not be disappointed availing his services and you can refer my name RK Patham Iyer Bangalore

All of us might have heard of the musical genius Muthuswami deekshidhar. He
has composed navagraha kirtis. Actually with one of the kirtis , he has cured
a man of his illness and this has prompted him to compose prayers to other
navagrahas. Madurai Mani iyer popularised these compositions. Usually, after
a prayer to Lord Ganapathi, he used to sing the navagraha kirti as applicable to
the day of his performance before proceeding to the other kirtis . All are very
effective . Anyone interested may go to the website by just writing Madurai
Mani iyer. Good luck.

Prayers to Navagrahas

There is an interesting puranic story about the navagrahas. Once they
blessed a devotee, ignoring the fate of the man. This is against nature
and they are not supposed to do it. Lord Iswara cursed them and as a
result they were afflicted with leprosy. After the navagrahas repented
their action and prayed to the LOrd, the Lord asked them to go to
Thirumangalakudi and offer prayers to God Iswara. They were also told
to take a medicine to cure them of their disease.

The remedy is - take warm ( not hot ) cooked rice and mix it with curd
placing it on arka leaves ( erukkam ilai ). They were asked to take the
curd rice . They did and were cured of the disease. The warm curd rice
has the property of drawing a particular chemical from the leaves which
has the medicinal property.

Arka tree, its stem, its leaves and its flowers have medicinal properties.
The stem and its root are used for making talisman and has tantric
effect. There is a reference to this plant in Krishna yajur veda.

During Ganesh Chathurthi, Ark Flowers Garland is used to decorate Lord Ganesha.
Secondly, during the patra puja (leaves puja) on that Ark Leaves are also used
one amongst 21 leaves. It is also said that, without offering the Ark leaves to
Hanumanji, the puja becomes incomplete. On the Rathasapthami day, all Hindus
use the leaves of Ark while taking bath chanting slokas. It is also a healing curb
according to ayurved doctors. In the villages side, people use its milky fluid produced
by the plant to cure wounds and skin diseases besides other purposes. The plant
with white flowers is more sacred.
