Whence the light is chosen,
When it is merely a flash,
in darkness eternity?

Whence the art is chosen,
When it is merely a trifle,
in random obscurity?

Whence the life is chosen,
When it is merely a speck,
in death certainty?

What of arms that men carry,
Full of fire that burns and kills.
What water shall put it out?
What destiny shall it hold?

What of babies born in peace?
What of babies that die in sleep?
What of hunger, disease and death?
What destiny claims to cure?
Whence a cure would come for sure?

Life full of questions
and no seeming answers
Is that a life that men shall see?

Things are hard, thoughts abound
Perfect world we shall see
Time and tide still does wait,
Patience is thy grace

For in darkness can light shine
In obscurity is art an identity
In death shall life glow

May a life with destiny be
That everyone shall see
So I sign off in eternity
with God speed in flight with me...

Shri Gopal,

The world is full of hunger, disease, death and a number of other negative as well as catastrophic things. That's what the world is and we have to live in that. period.

Shri Gopal, may I recommend to you the experts on 'Sanatana Dharma' to be found in the Times of India website, 'Speaking Tree'? They shall guide you on the principle of 'karma' and the idea of a 'cycle of birth and death' associated with it.
