You gave on the way a pleasant smile
And thought no more about it.
It cheered a life that had been dark the while
Which might have been wrecked without it.
And so for that smile that was given there,
You'll have a reward sometime-somewhere.

You lent a hand to a fallen one;
lift in love was given.
engraved your love on wall
dont let them to erase all
You saved a soul when hope was gone
And helped him on toward heaven.

Dear Mr. Sivashanmugam,

Mr. Siva's doubts raised in # 6 are as follows:

"Are these English poems your own writings or written by some on else?

If so, who is the author? Who is the author of the Tamil verses?"

So now you have to reply to him in this regard.

You said you have posted another 'thread' . Actually You have posted

another 'post' and not 'thread.' :decision:

Hope you understood me correctly this time.

with best wishes,
V.R.

Hi Sir!

An interesting new thread. Your posts are in the same thread. Please continue...

Expecting your reply to Mr. Siva's questions.

Best wishes,

Author : sivashanmugam .Title : Laugh or Cry

Wandering eyes eager to behold thee
Heart aflutter in anticipation
messages ahoy, but what is its ploy?
Is it going to cause laughter or cry?
Storms and showers common to me!
Like a fool, i await to sail across the waves!
In school the Math i learnt
But i guess i never learnt the art of the heart!
Prodigious over my daily home work
Alas, forgot to take love, how to love...

Dear Mr. Sivashanmugam,

Good work and original ones too! Actually your poems seem to be better than

your prose. It is really surprising, because usually the poems tend to be more

ambiguous than the prose written by the same person. Cool! Carry on!!

Your name in Tamil should read
சிவஷண்முகம். :clap2:

Please make this correction in the future posts.

with warm regards,
V.R (Ma'am or mom??)

Creech.........Creech
Oh my dear birds the mom call
The bird peep and protrude nest
Creech, Creech oh my dear birds
Here is the prey for you, come out
Fluttering wings with awesome eye
Hold the prey and begin to eat..
Dear, The mother begin to speak..
Creech.....Creech!
This is the lost feeding in this nest
The strangers, Oh that evil devil men
Going to cut this tree to pave the road!
Creech...Creech..All the birds cry..Oh mom
What are the way to surveil from that men?
I don't know..the mother bird replied..
Let us wait and watch for the next day.
Yes the other trees will surveil us!

Dear Amma ,
mom is informal .

Dear Amma..Thank you for your kind reply.
Mom is an informal word for mother.
My net friends using this instead of mother.

'Mommy' is any day better than 'mummy'!!

Hence Mom..........

Singaarach Chennai maamis are addressed MOMS! :thumb:

I am reminded of the English 'poem' my Bengali friend

Mrs. Basu composed for her son.

"Tring! tring! Tring!

The telephone bell ring!"

It was a perfect poem... short, sweet(thanks to the sound of the bell),

and with perfect rhyme too! :phone:

Dear Mom,
Well..

Famous Quotations
MOM
''Strictly speaking, one cannot legislate love, but what ..."
"To deny the need for comprehensive child care policies ..."
"I know how to do anything—I'm a mom."

Hope this will be help u to clear the doughts..

This term mom is commonly in Canada and North America.
It is North American term for mum..

I know the word 'mom' and my two sons live in USA.

I never had any doubts about its meaning!

I myself am becoming a 'Universal Mom' now-a-days...far better than

being addressed as (eai! visalakshi!)

Author: sivashanmugam. Title: I love my teacher

One fine morning i went my school
To meet my teachers and friends
Saw what i never had seen in their
Totaly changed atmosphere!
A chapel was built in the ground
Additional constructions were in that.
Never think it could turned like this
I have re-collecting the olden days
Where i saw my teacher Helda in the chapel
She prays not for her but for the dears
She is the lady of honour not only in the age
With her good heart too...

Sivashanmugam..

இடைசாதி நான் என்றான்
இங்கிவனை யான் பெறவே
