What we generally mean by pragmatism is based on the notion that humans are inherently flawed. So being practical implies being shrewd, catering more to self than others and so on. But what if we alter the fundamental notion about humans. That is humans are inherently perfect and the flaws are just acquired and not in their permanent nature. I think with great collective effort it is possible to come to this understanding of humans which can dramatically alter the society and the quality of life of people.
If genuine efforts are made in this direction of enlightening people, we can elevate ourselves beyond imagination.
Think about it folks.
