Drivers in London who find filling up their car a chore can now have diesel - and very soon petrol - brought on demand if they use a new app-based service. Called Zebra Fuel, the firm will drive to your home in one of its specially-equipped vans and brim your motor while it's parked outside, charging prices that are claimed to be on par with or cheaper than fuel stations in the capital. On Monday, the company confirmed it had raised $2.5m (£1.8m) in a seed round led by LocalGlobe, alongside Brent Hoberman’s Firstminute Capital and Zoopla founder Alex Chesterman as it plans to become the major provider of on-demand fuel in the UK.
