Dear sir,
I am new to this forum and the rituals/traditions in my family. Request you to forgive me and correct when wrong.
I am from Balakilya gotram, (thats what I have been saying). It is requested to confirm if Valakilya and Balakilya gotram are same. In Abhivadaye I use- Viswamitra, Devaradhaha, outwala tria rishaha pravaranjita .............gotraha abhasthamba sootraha yajur shakha aghyayee
 
Visvamitra, dhaivaradha outhala valakilya gothram is there. அபிவாதயே வைஸ்வாமித்ர, தைவராத ஒளதல த்ரயாரிஷயே ப்ரவரான் விதஹ வாலகில்ய கோத்ராஹா ஆபத் ஸ்தம்ப ஸூத்ராஹா யஜுஷ்யாஹா அத்யாயீ-----------------சர்மா நாமாஹா அஹம் அஸ்மிபோஹோ.
