There is evidence for dharma in Australia probably from 800 years ago. Could you comment on dhuwidi ? There was no written language at that time so possible Indonesian influence was passed on by memory . ( I can't post a link in this Forum but a search for the next sentence gives the site).

The Muruwari tribe believed that Bida-Ngulu (meaning 'forehead of fire') was the creator of all things. Bida-Ngulu lived in the sky and his greatest gift to men and women when he created them had been dhuwidi "living spirit".

Perhaps the word is dewaduta and could mean Agni ?

Old Javanese
dewadaitya (Skt) gods and demons
dewaduhita(Skt) daughter of the gods
dewaduta(Skt) divine messenger
dewata1. (Skt) god, deity; having entered the divine state, deceased. .
2. holy woman, nun?
dewati : goddess
diwyayati (Skt) excellent monk
