Dear All,
Preceding the Bhagawat Geetha, it seems there is a Shiva Geetha in which Shiva & Rama play the roles of Krishna & Arjuna respectively.
The problem with Rama is similar to that of Arjuna in the Geetha. He is dejected in life, after the separation of his wife Seetha. It is at this time that he meets Sage Agasthya who advises him to look unto Lord shiva and clear his doubts.
And after raising a lot of philosophical questions, Lord Rama is dispelled of darkness and starts afresh.
