Very nice and impressive to have the imagination to draw by hand.

To draw such figures using computers, one solves an approximate Traveling Salesman Problem. Hence such art works are called TSP Arts.
This is an example of a Hamiltonian Path (Or a Traveling Salesman Route) in a graph.

More TSP Arts can be found here http://www2.oberlin.edu/math/faculty/bosch/tspart-page.html and http://www.cgl.uwaterloo.ca/csk/projects/tsp/

This page tells you how to make a figure
