My father is completing 80 years and 8 months in August 2017. My fathers' cousin brother's grand child (onnu vitta anna's peran) passed away in March 2017 and we were told to observe 1 year asoucham, due to this (not to go to hill temples, kula deivam temples, etc). This asoucham will be over around March 2018. In this scenario, when can we perform the Sadhabhishekam for our father?
Also saw in Shanti Kusumakara book that Sadhabhishekam should be done only in Utarayana. So even if asoucham is not considered, Sadhabhishekam cannot be done in August 2017 (being dhakshinayanam)?
Can pandits please confirm when we can perform Sadhabhishekam?
