I would like to share with you a humorous novel named "Mr. Iyer Goes to War". The book is published by Bloomsbury UK. The story is inspired by the story of Don Quixote but is set in India where Lalgudi Iyer runs away from a home for the dying in Kashi on an epic journey down the Ganges, accompanied by a dom.

There is an extract published in Scroll.in Just please type 'Mr. Iyer Goes to war scroll.in' in google.

There is also a review of the book in the Daily Mail, a London newspaper.

I hope you enjoy the book and it is available on Amazon.

Warm regards,

Wolf

Your name seems to have scared away the readers

in spite of the magical word 'Iyer' in the title of this thread!

Does Mr. Iyer emerge victorious in his attempt to pale Don Quixote in comparison??? :ear:

May be these links will make more people interested in reading about this Quixotic Iyer!
