Annadhanam is not only for rich people it can be done by all the people irrespective of their financial condition. It means not only to human beings but to any creature in the world. for example if you have only five rupees and still you can feed more numbers. You may ask how? get rice or sugar for that amount you can put it in a ant hill so that thousands of ants can eat their full meal.That is why in tamil proverb "MANAM IRRUNDHAL MARGAM UNNDU"

Dear members, It is said that " Pasi Kodumayilum Kodumai " Pasi vandal paththum parakkum "
"Undi kodutharai ullalzavum ninai "Ulahathileya siranda Dhanam " Anna dhanam "Almost all the temples are ensuring daily anna dhanam in the mid day, & it is extremely helpful to Yathriharhal.
I think people donate liberally to such Temples, duly realizing that it satisfies their eagerness to feed the hungry. This Dhanam alone is Unique since the person feels extremely happy to see others eating when they are hungry, Poor feeding had always been there in Tamil nadu.
As I wrote earlier, members may like to give the poorest of the poor whatever you can afford, as they see on the streets & ensure the person will either ,has a drink for quench his thirst /his stomach at any time with that money.
