Featuring sanskrit lyrics written by Kanniks Kannikeswaran to 'Gypsy' - featured in the Lord of Dance - Michael Flatley (Composer Ronan Hardiman). Sung by Vidita Kanniks on top of 'Gypsy'. Inspired by 'Vismaya' recorded by Kanniks and Vidita in 2007.
Vidita and I were stuck in a traffic jam sometime last year- listening to 'Gypsy' from 'The Lord of Dance' over and over again - not wanting to stop - and were wondering what this 'Celtic' tune would sound like with sanskrit lyrics in the spirit of Vismaya. Quickly wrote the lyrics after getting home. The result is this recording.
