I am Parameswara Iyer Rama Chandran, @ P R Chandran and Chandran P R.
Born in 1941,
schooled in Trivandrum,
graduated in 1962 from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum in Civil Engineering,
wrote the All India Services Exam in 1964, and got selected for Indian Police Service (IPS) and joined the same in 1965, allotted to Kerala cadre and served in Kerala mostly,
and retired as Director General Of Police (DGP) and head of the Police Dept in Kerala in May 2001.
Have been interested in Hindu religion and tamil culture. Currently pursuing study of our scriptures. Also have done a few digitisations in malayalam, tamil and sanskrit of some religious works under the guidance of P R Ramachander.
Stationed in Bangalore. But still with roots in Trivandrum.
