Chinmaya sisters (uma & Radhika) are one of the most blessed singers as the have a very sweet voice and are well trained in carnatic sanggeetham.
---------------------------------
As dual singers both have good correlation and synchronizing technique. If Radhika etched the basics of the raga, Uma who took it up from the upper shadjam presented a fascinating and wholesome delineation.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Very good singing style in all the language krithis......good resonance in singing with good modulation and vibratin that can enter your soul to awaken the sixth sense.
==================
They are the disciples of Madurai Sri T.N. Seshagoplan and Neyveli Sri R.
Santhanagopalan.
-----------------------------
The sisters are well poised to ascend to the
highest levels in Carnatic music and deserve our encouragement. The blessings ofSwami Chinmayananda inspired much in them that their guru Sri Santhanagopalan askedthem to call themselves as Chinmaya Sisters. As an adjective, you will find that“Chinmaya” certainly is an apt one for their music.
