Excellent!

This is why daily sadhana is important. It lets you keep god in your mind always, so that we 'choose' wise actions over wrong and incorrect ones.

Knowledgeble mistakes

thanks for your comments smt jr ji

durian karnan all know that krishnan is an avatar- but their egho and destiny made them act against lord and when we get the punishment. Just like that we do many things wrong but try to succeed. If you study life we can understand mahabaratham and ramayana are still in our life- each one playing his role as tuned by lord. But we realise our mistakes when the chapter is closed.
Blessed are those who run a smooth life

The same scene seen through the eyes of the dame in distress! He has no answer But tells உத்தவரே! And tries to explain his inaction by - Sambavame Yugae Yugae for what ? To be a mute witness of Adharma! Why the Suo Moto action demanded when you are uncomfortable with a post doesnot not seem to be demanded from Krishna!! and wonderstruck with his explantion! This Marathi play was banned Suo moto during emergency! This is distoration and no explanation!

When Dharmaraj stakes everything, including Draupadi, and loses it all, at first he is surprised that it wasn’t only a game. Draupadi asks: “If a man can play around with his loved ones in a game, can you imagine what he’d do in real life?…And you, my gutless husbands? Where were you while your brother was distributing us around like largesse?” She taunts all of them as the Kauravas attempt to disrobe her: “And you watch like a gentleman while the Kauravas manhandle me. Who do I see here today? The wisest and oldest upholders of our civilization. There they sit, the lecherous voyeurs, watching one of their senile fantasies come true. But mark my words, if you don’t stop these blackguards now, the winds of war will sweep this land bare.

Krishna, oh Lord Krishna, where are you?”

And then Krishna arrives: KRISHNA: Stop this demonic game. (Places himself between Draupadi and the audience.) No more of this perversion. I will not stand by and watch it.

DRAUPADI: Yet you watched long enough.

KRISHNA: I was waiting for your call.

DRAUPADI: What sort of God are you that needs calling? The play sparkles with such rapid-fire dialogue!

I have not been visiting this forum for quite some time. When I did so today, this thread interested me especially.

The problem/controversy is due to the fact that our hinduism contains the most accurate truths but these are eclipsed beyond recognition by a humongus amount of untruths, semi-truths and mere blabberings.

Here the mistake is in treating or imagining Krishna - the cowherd boy, as the Supreme Parabrahman or Vishnu etc.; in truth, the one and only reality, the Paramatma or Parabrahman has been "depicted" as a human being Krishna and, in the OP, it is this Parabrahman (Vishnu for our staunch Vaishnavite members) who/which explains His/Its real position. But, there is one small caveat even there; the ஸாட்சி பூதம் will never, I repeat NEVER, come listening to anyone's call or appeal, unless and until the appellant's past Karmas are such that deserve "Divine Interference". The Parabrahman by itself has no powers to act suo moto because It is not a human being with independent volition or will; it also acts according to what the Vedas call as ऋतं (ṛtaṃ) and this ṛtaṃ is governed by a Karma Law, which is not exactly identical to what is commonly dished out among hindus today. This is what is sought to be explained beautifully in the following:

Our ancient Rishis, Seers and Acharyas might have understood the truths but they seem to have had limitations in explaining the same to the common man. Possibly Adishankara was the first person who came closest to the Truth, but today, it is a mixture of Dwaita and VA which is ruling the hindu mind because it suits the interests which control 'religion'. That is the sad truth!

ஸாட்சி பூதம் will never, I repeat NEVER, come listening to anyone's call or appeal,

Narayana has even answerd wrong calls. When Ajamila called his son Naryana and not ஸாட்சி பூதம் He picked up the call and sent his Attendants who chased away the Yamadoothas Was it not his Suo motto action!! or is it His attendants acted suo mott without his permisions?

Namaste,

It is wrong to accuse anyone, including gods, without applying the principles of 'desh, Kaal, and patra'.

Sri Krishna lived his life towards the tail end of Dwapara yuga, actually his demise saw the onset of Kali yuga. Therefore, constrained by the yuga ('Kaal'), and ofcourse, the 'patra' (the doubting Panchali in the beginning), Lord did not answer immediately. But when she did, Lord acted immediately and offered her the never-ending robe.

'SELF' illusions

'SELF' illusions

The one superpower in incarnation as lord Sri krishna have shown two ways in saving his devotees from the curtains of 'SELF' illusions of humans as all time saviour! At the time of Maha Bharath, the mother Drowpathi was saved in the full house of Kowravas from Dussasana by covering her self - respects of dignity from others giving many clothes as teachings of illusions in this super nature.

In Maha Bhagawarh epic again Srikrishna stolen away the clothes of 'Gopika's ' to clear the self - respects and egos coming from supernatural creation of human; will divides the relationship of devotees and divine.

The oneness of superpower universalism love arises in surrenders everything by human is one knowledgeable way out path to reach their birth place of selfless love creativity as a wife & husband relationship without any secrecy and self egos of humanism can dilutes everything in to one fearless and joyful love ecstasy called as another word 'Bramh'anandam'.

When poor illiterate Gopika's realized this oneness of universalism love to reunion is divinity; the lord Srikrishna re-back their clothes to explained as supernatural illusions of creation, surrounded by many things and differences can be smashed off immediately in a wonderful devotional knowledgeable theme by themselves as real devotees in surrenders only.

So our lord Sri krishna incarceration teaches us two ways of keeping self respects arises in illusions of nature can be solved by surrenders to a DIVINITY.

The epics of legends will certainly explains the truths of divinely path to gives us many solutions to reach the goal of attainment of life cycles as lost door to dilutes every thing in oneness of divinity only in a state of joyous as `MOKSHAM` or liberties of one human!

Dear Sri Sangom

At your suggestion from another thread I came to this thread. Let me share my thoughts on your comment.

Beliefs of any kind including theology driven beliefs do not mix well with any kinds of logic or reason since beliefs by definition cannot be based on reasons.

Having said this, there are reasonable beliefs and unreasonable beliefs.
For example an eternal hell or heaven for a time dependent entity (like a person) is an unreasonable belief while time bound swarga can be a 'reasonable' belief though there is no supporting logic for such an entity.

We live in a delusional world for those that care to try to understand it and beliefs propagated by Puranic stories are 'magically' delusional. The so called VA is actually V-Dwita and mandates theology driven edicts only. In this sense it is no different than other theology driven religions.

Human beings by and large like the idea of a powerful god ready to step in at their beck and call. It helps them with their sense of well being and also creates conflicts ('My god is better than your god' syndrome).

Since the idea of Puranic god is helpful and if someone's method of devotion does not hurt others my own take is to respect them and not try to seek any further reasoning.

Sri Krishna in B.Gita presented as Bhagavan by Vyasa is a teacher. For those wanting to benefit from B.Gita it is irrelevant if the story itself is based on historical events.

Sri Krishna of Bhagavatam is more of a magical god for the bhaktas. While Srimad bhagavatam itself has a number of highly vedantic verses interspersed, the stories in it appeal to the bhaktas only. If the image of god portrayed helps the Bhaktas dealing with their life, my take is 'why not' since they are not hurting anyone.

When one enters the realm of magical gods one cannot bring 'truths' into the discussion. The only question that is relevant is if the beliefs help or harm overall.

We have few தீவிரவாதிகள் in this forum who feel they have to defend their beliefs and they do more damage than good. We also have many Bhaktas in our forum who are actually satvic in their outlook and carry on with their beliefs unperturbed. I respect them even if what they believe is not based on reality of Isvara as unfolded in the Upanishads and as taught by Sri Sankara.

My own take therefore is that there are only delusions all around taken as truths by the believers. Many progress over time and in that sense they go from one level of truth to another level.

You have strong beliefs in Astrology that is based on your personal experience. They are anecdotal in nature at best. It is not possible to design a statistically verifiable means to prove correlation to any truth since controlled setting for such a study is not possible . But we all respect your beliefs.

The Karma model itself is a belief based entity only. There are few statements in Upanishads here and there which with the help of commentaries and some imagination has given rise to the Karma model. This model is least understood by majority of people. Even when fully understood it is a mere model with no direct proof though it may have some supporting logic.

Therefore my take is that we cannot use the Karma model (based on one kind of reasonable beliefs) to reject another kind of belief (of an interventional personal god).

Each one measures God with the puny scale he has got. LOL. And come here to announce his "finding". The scale can be anything. For some it is karma theory and for some others it is Sankara in his notes. LOL.

Not sure I understand what is said here except sense that there is no content that is relevant to the thread.

God, religion and beliefs are personal things. There is no agreement among people as to what these things mean. Better to respect others and their viewpoints if they are not criticizing you or your religion or your God.

Thanks for the liberal advice.

I reserve my right to comment on matters presented here and I also retain my right to be frank about it.

Personal things are personal only as long as they are kept that way. Once it comes into the open in the forum, it is public property. Every one has his/her rights. Respect is a word which is again defined according to individual conveniences.

Whatever I said about the inadequacy of the scales with which God is measured, is not only my own view. It is what the Vedas said and many Acharyas say.

What you said to start with is perhaps true "Not sure I understand what is said........." LOL.

No one in this thread has 'measured' or scaled or defined their God or your God in a limiting way. If you think they have then you have to explain with proper reasons and content without need to just name-drop Vedas and teachers.

Some think they have a personal God and some think it is impersonal. Your right to comment is not in question. Adding value with content to your post was the request.

People have personal relationship with their version of God just like you do. Scolding others without offering reason with a claim they are liming your God does not make sense. If you are the knowledgeable One you can explain LOL

1)These (following 10 quotes) are the different ways in which people here have understood the God entity in this thread. They have measured and understood the entity with their scales each. The mentioning of vedas is not name dropping. If you do not know vedas I can not help. Go and study and come back and tell me where in vedas is this spoken about and that will solve your problem. And by the way what is this 'limiting way'? Can you elaborate with examples from the posts here?

3. This is why daily sadhana is important. It lets you keep god in your mind always, so that we 'choose' wise actions over wrong and incorrect ones.

Those marked red are quotes from my postings ! And here is the answer for your request (marked green)

You were not scolding but insulting people saying - Your a pest - I donot have time for the likes of you - calling Ignorant & silly, people who could not be bullied by you - You are in ignore list - alcohol free flowing etc. Unlike Krishna who appears only on call Ravana will appear Suo motto whenever such insults are hurled!
