Oats oothappam or Adai

Oats oothappam or Adai

1 1/2 cup oats

1/2 cup black whole urad,channa dhal, thuar dhal.
Green chillies, red chillies as per taste
Salt

Soak all dhals together for 2 hours .grind all the items coarsely. Make Oothappam.


Opt. We can add any kind of vegetables.

There are two major differences between oothappam and adai.

1. For oothappam only urad dhal is added whereas for adai different kinds of dhals are added.

2. Oothappam is supposed to be soft and adai is supposed to be a stiff.

So....... the above recipe is for oats adai! :thumb:
