Hindu Rituals in Bharatha Bhoomi and in foreign country.

Even Srardham if done in a foreign country does it get “Karma Bhoomi Palan”
What is this called" Karma Bhomi Palan? Why other foreign lands are called " Bhoga Bhoomi?
Everywhere on earth, there are Hindu Temples as well as other religious shrines.
God is also every where. All lands are equal as everywhere sages of different religions are born .

Sri Vidya Rajagopalan's answers

Bharata Kandam is callede as Karma Bhoomou because the people here believes in Karma!

Bharata Kandam is called with a garland of names which includes Karma Boomi, Gnana Boomi, Yoga Boomi, Moksha Boomi Punya Boomi etc.

In Maha Sangalpam Bharata Kandam is refered as 'KARMA BHOOMOU',

Kamya Karma:

All karmas done with some desire in the heart ,or to achieve some selfish purpose are known as Kamya karmas.

Rituals like Sastiyaptha poorthi, or Navagraha Homam or Sri Sudhasana Homan are Kamya karmas.
If these are done in Bhoga Bhomi (other than Bharatha Desam) the benefits will be the same. In fact benefits should be more than done in Bharatha Desam due to Bhoga aspect.

Pitru Poojanam: .

If the death occurs in India, all rituals should be done here only. Sastras do not allow the rituals done in a foreign country. First two days rituals can be done by any body. Other rituals shold begin form third day or at least from the ninth day by the first Karta at the death place or on a bank of sacred river . If the rituals up to Sapindikarana are not done by the first karta, everything should be done by the first karta later when he comes, with the then stipulated procedure.

Each region follows its own nibhandhana. In the North, it is the one authored by Kasinatha Upadhyaya. In Maharastra, it is the Mitaksara: it has the force of law and is accepted as such by the law courts. Nirnayasindhu by Kamalakara Bhatta is also accepted as an authority there. In the South, Vaidyanatha-Diksitiyam by Vaidyanatha Diksita is followed. These are the important authorities for householders. Sannyasins follow Visvesvara-samhita. In Tamil Nadu the Dharmasastra means the Vaidyanatha-Diksitiyam
