Location:[/h] The Trisula Nathar Temple is located in Trisulam on the Guindy-Tambaram route, Chennai suburb. The temple is located around 3 km away from the main road. Take the road opposite to the Chennai Airport bus stop which passes through the railway level crossing and go around 3 km in the interior to reach the temple. Tiruppurasundari Tirusoolanathar temple which is believed to have been constructed in the 12th century AD by Kulothunga I. The walls of the temple are inscribed with inscriptions from the Chola period. The temple has its big history behind the walls.

The Lordess Parvati is in two forms here. One very near to her consort Shiva - Trisoola Nathar and other as a separate sanctum - Thirupura Sundari
