Good words can be repeated any number of times.

Human memory is short lived and we have to

keep reminding it of the good words again and again.

There are two Bakthi Margas One is Markataka. The other is Marjara.

Markataka is a monkey. Marjaram is a cat.

The Markataka Bhakthas hold on to the feet of GOD like a baby monkey who holds onto its mother. No matter how "careless" GOD appears to be, they will not let go off. But baby monkeys do take off when they feel it is safe and mother is nearby. They come running to mother when they sense danger.

On the other hand, the kitten is held in the mouth of the mother cat no matter where she is and whether she is jumping up and down. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CAT TO TAKE CARE OF THE KITTEN. Similarly these Bakthas give total responsibility to GOD to take care of them.

We give GOD the attributes we like.

We call Vinayaka Modaka Priya becaus we give Modaka.

We call Devi Sthudi Priyayai and Stotra Priyayai because this is what we want her to be.

The composers of stotras make GOD like the things they like. And give them attributes which they would like GOD to have.

In Bhavani Sahasranamam, MAA is called gudaanna priyayai. It is very clear that the composer offered her Vella Payasam.

Then in one of the Kali Sahasranamas (there are many) she is called Kaveri Thira vasini. So we know that the composer lived in along Kaveri river. He calls he Maha Thrupurasundaryai Namah. So we know that he is a follower of Sri Vidya. Of course this Sahasranamam is for Sri Vidya Kali.

US President Barack Obama gave a very emotionally moving speech, addressing the nation, after a gunman left innocent little school children and staff members dead, in the recent shooting at Sandy Hook Elementry School in connecticut. President expressed his emotions naturally and his body language was sound enough to reveal his genuine concern and emotional pain.

Where as, the speech of our PM Manmohan Singh, addressing the nation after 8 days, on the brutal gang rape and assault on a young, 23 year old girl in Delhi private bus, was not at all conviencing. Neither it carried any expressions of emotional feelings on part of the PM nor the intensity with which the leader of the nation is concerned about women safety in India and the necessary speedy and apt legal actions aganst the culprits.

The public speech by the leader of the Nation should be potent enough to take the public in confidence. Should demonstrate the sense of responsibility and the natural human feelings that any mere human would share with fellow humans.

PM, CM or Aam Admi, all are after all mere human beings. If the leaders don't share and express their genuine emotions along with the citizens, at the right time and in a right manner, in a vast country like ours where heinous crims easily take place, it would really be a shameful affair of the Nation's leadership.
    Cheers.........

    Ravi,
I Fully agree...Our PM's 'Teek hai' to check if the sound system was OK for recording the speech is now doing a viral round in social networking sites and has compounded his lack lustre speech with lack of empathy & sincerity...Poor man...

Usually the leaders have a convincing body language and
modulation of voice to stir up the feelings of the countrymen.

But there should be at least a spark of true feelings
in order to create a roaring fire! Is it not???

"Sab kuch chalega ...as long as I am safe and sound!!!"
is the attitude. The speech became necessary to calm the violent agitators.

It was not due to real sympathy or emotion or even sorrow over the incident.

Has anyone ever heard of a girl losing her intestines due to gang rape???

    Shri Vgane,

Yes!! Just now I finished reading the news article and got to know about our PM's uttering of "Theek Hai?" (is it OK?), looking up at the person behind the camera.

I felt very bad of our much elderly, highly qualifed and highly dignified clear chit PM, while reading a statment by Bollywood Actor Paresh Rawal, who tweeted refering to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and rightly said that, our PM is used to say "Theek Hai Madam" (it is OK/right madam) and so there seem to be nothing to be surprised and feel awkward/embarassed, blaming the PM for his uttering "Theek hai" in front on the camera.
    Cheers.........

Very true!!!! The speech was given only to calm down violent agitators and not out of genuine sympathy, sorrow, emotions over the incident and towards the victim and to share the emotional feelings of the public.

We could come to know that the young girl was subjected to brutal gang rape in the hands of crazy wild animals, in which the girl suffered beyond limits and had her intestines pulled out/damaged, may be because the incident took place in a City, the capital of the country. God knows how many such and even more brutal and gruesome grang rapes are taking place in villages and girls are subjected to suffering, humiliation and are eventually murdered and such cases remains unreported.

I personally would strongly vouch for the claims by the majority public that rapists should be awarded Capital Punishment. Only such stringent law can be expected to drastically reduce such crimes against women.

There is nothing wrong to have such strict laws to curtail such crimes in densely populated countries like India, where there is no dearth of inhuman species.
    Cheers.........
