    Business minded people do not know what is love.

    But they know very well how to manipulate others for their own selfish purposes - by employing one of these methods cleverly.

    Tips... To Insure Prompt Service.

    Gifts... with strings attached of course.

    Bribes... with promises extracted from others.

    Treats... with finalizing deals for the benefit of of both parties.

    Perks... which may be of any denomination and dimension - depending on the nature and value of the transaction.

    BUT sadly the one thing they will never know is
    true love which is also selfless love!

    My father always used to speak of the JOY of Motherhood.

    He meant the time when the babies have taken bath, had their tummies well filled, tucked in comfortably for a nap.

    I agreed with him then but now I find that the joy of grand-motherhood is when we hear the little feet patter running around, the little fingers explore our face when we are try to steal a nap and the little voice calling from the bed stead almost inaudibly!

    Isn't it wonderful how our opinions change with our age?

    Difference of mā and grandmā:

    Mā takes care of her baby when it cries:

    Grandmā takes care when it smiles!!

    # 1.குட்டிப் பாப்பா!

    அம்மாவின் முன்புறம் அவள் ஒரு சிறு
    கங்காரு போல நன்கு கட்டப்பட்டிருந்தாள்!

    எங்களைக் கண்டதும் சிரிக்கவில்லை;
    கண்களை மட்டும் உருட்டி விழித்தாள்!

    'அந்தப் பாட்டி'யின் வீட்டில் இருந்த நாட்களில்
    எங்களைப் பார்க்காததால் மறந்து போனாளோ?

    வீட்டைச் சென்று அடையும் வரை பேசவில்லை!
    வீட்டில் நுழைந்ததும், "தாத்தா
    ஸ் & பாட்டிஸ் ஹவுஸ்!"

    மூவரும் இரவு ஒரு மணிக்கு குளித்து விட்டு
    'மடியாகத் தூங்கப்போனார்கள்' அவர்களறைக்கு!

    காலையில் ஆறு மணிக்கு அலாரம் போல கேட்டது
    "தாத்தா! பாட்டி!" என்ற அழகான மழலைத் தமிழ்க் குரல்!

    அப்பா அம்மாவைத் தூங்க விடவில்லை அவள்.
    அப்போதே வெளியில் வரவேண்டுமாம் விளையாட.

    'குஷ்பு இட்லி' செய்துவிட்டு anxious ஆக இருந்தேன்!
    'குழந்தைக்குப் பிடிக்குமோ பிடிக்காதோ?' என்று!

    சட்னியைத் தொட்டுக் கொண்டு சாப்பிட்டாள்!
    வெறும் சட்னி அல்ல. SPICY சட்னி வேண்டுமாம்!

    அடுத்த நாள் புது முயற்சியாக உப்பு அப்பம்.
    அதற்கு அவள் பெயரிட்டாள் CRACKERS என்று!

    P.S:
    Anything 'muru muru' is a cracker!

    The Blow and the Glow.

    There was this strange fellow,
    A moment of peace will not allow;

    Inside, he was a person yellow,
    And his love was very shallow;

    He made his loyal wife swallow,
    Insults streaming out in a flow;

    Age should have made him mellow,
    But it did in fact add to his bellow;

    His wit would work very slow,
    He loved to hit, her belt below;

    He would his routine follow,
    A bachelor's life all aglow;

    He would tell his loyal wife,
    "Mother of five! Enjoy life!"

    The wife had got tired and sick,
    Thought it was time to hit back;

    "Oh dear Father of three!
    Go and enjoy Scot free!"

    Now that was a real blow,
    Too big for him to swallow!

    He came to senses, bent low,
    Never again left his bungalow.

    [A story, by my father told,
    As a poem, by me retold!]

    My list of blogs on naughty poems:

    1. Naughty poems long and short

    Time is supposed to e a continuous stream flowing eternally. This is what supports the concept of time travel back to the past or to the future.

    At times working backwards is easier than working in the forward direction. When unable to find the way to the center of a maze, we work backwards. It is much more easier to come out of the maze - if we start from the center.

    This is a similar attempt in writing simple English poetry. Instead of starting with a theme and going searching for words which rhyme perfectly, I did the converse.

    I got all the rhyming words and tried to eave them into a poem - with a rational and acceptable theme - to the best of my ability.

    These poems are naughty - not because of their theme - but since they were made differently. These poems had to be long or short - depending on the number or rhyming words at my disposal.

    Some of the poems are really good and some are little weird. Since it is an experiment, I request you to enter the blog with a lenient and open mind and try to enjoy my logical and mathematical creations.
