Automatic lock for front door is a big headache! By change the door slams, when the only person in the house goes out

to pick up the newspaper or mail, he / she is finished!! So, lonely persons better keep a key in neck chain / poonool! ;)

First thing in the morning, open the back yard door. Open the side doors to your back yard.... then it doesn't matter... நாராயணன் வீட்டுக்கு நாலு பக்கமும் வழி....won't work in high rise buildings though...

:welcome: Raghy Sir! Long time; no see!! :D

If I leave the back and side doors open and go to pick the newspaper, a burglar may enter my sweet home! :fear:

This is Sing. Chennai!! The easiest way is to be tension free is to avoid an automatic lock. I did so, though our

carpenter advised to fix an automatic lock!

This happened in our colony a few years back. A mAmA went to buy milk from a shop which was opposite to

their house at 5 a.m. and mAmi was sleeping. A burglar entered their house and escaped with some valuables

from the hall and poojA room, before mAmA returned! :bolt:

So sad.. Haven't heard of a burglar in a long time... like 27 years... even that burglar was a kid, had no idea what to steal...

Anyway, when keeping the back yard door open, it does not have to be kept ajar.. it should be closed, not locked..
next option is, to keep a spare key at secrete place, outside the house...

Dear Raghy Sir,

Some mAmis have the front door key attached to their thAli; so sacred is the key! :thumb:

You may invest in a numbered lock.

How to find out that a person is stressed?

Here are a few symptoms, which if experienced often, means 'STRESS'!! :ballchain:

1. Troubled sleep; 2. Problem in concentrating; 3. Spells of headache; 4. No interest in intimate

relationship
with spouse; 5. Feel nauseous when healthy; 6. Stomach upsets; 7. Feel tired /worn out;

8. Cold / other infections; 9. Disinterested in what happens around; 10. Can't make decisions easily;

11. Quick heart beats / chest pain; 12. Feel low self-esteem; 13. Replay things in mind again and again;

14. Distracted; 15. Constantly worrying; 16. Get irritated with near and dear ones.

Solutions? In the next post! :typing:

1. Troubled sleep - Deep breath a few times and think of good events; pray the ishta Deivam and go to sleep.

2. Problem in concentrating - Have a strong belief that you can solve any problem.

3. Spells of headache - Say 'cool' often to yourself and stay cool too!

4. No interest in intimate relationship
with spouse - Think that your spouse is THE best in the world. :becky:

5. Feel nauseous when healthy; 6. Stomach upsets; 7. Feel tired /worn out; 8. Cold / other infections -

For all the four - Discard all the
bad thoughts in mind and try to be positive always!

9. Disinterested in what happens around - Think that you HAVE some responsibilities in this life!

10. Can't make decisions easily - Better to have one close friend, who will help in the time of need.

11. Quick heart beats / chest pain; 12. Feel low self-esteem -
Develop faith in yourself! :thumb:
13. Replay things in mind again and again - Bad events should be forgotten ASAP. :couch2:

14. Distracted; 15. Constantly worrying - One thing at a time and that done well is the best of rules!!

If multitasking is difficult, follow the above rule! ;)

16. Get irritated with near and dear ones - Try to understand that NO ONE is perfect. This will surely help! :D

Physical Therapist...

:decision: . . . :peace:

Early bird catches the worm! :thumb:

Better we too get up early. especially when we have more odd jobs to do and leave the house for some get-together,

or to catch a bus/ train / flight, in the morning! :)

Some mAmAs visit the restroom a few times, to 'download' (sorry to use this word for fun!!) in 'instalments'!!

Ladies need to make up their face and pack up items for eating on the way! Age makes us 'slowchanAs'. So,
it is

always good to set the alarm at least 45 mts earlier than the time we plan to get up and avoid last minute tension!

Also, remember to call the cab driver a few minutes earlier to the departure; their delay will build up our tension.

Just peeped in today to say "Hi" to all.

Met Dr Ross a couple of times. I've been terribly pre-occupied - forgotten my TBF password.

Hopefully, I'll get some time now and can witness some Tom & Jerry sparring - 2017 edition

A list of 'Things to do' is always very helpful - be it preparations for a family get-together or shopping.

If we have the habit of noting down which items are to be bought, in a note pad, it will be very useful

when we go for shopping.

BTW, when my son was a kid, I bought two magic slates - the one on which we can write with any blunt

tip and rub it off by moving a lever - one for him and one for me, to write odd jobs to be done on the day.

Nice idea, but you have to remember where you kept the slate !

You are famous for your 'phenomenal memory' - now, go and search for the slate
before the students come for the music lessons.

Happy searching
