[h=1]Kin celebrate toddler’s birthday at Chennai police station[/h]A cake was quickly ordered and the cops also picked up a new dress for Lokesh who was already adorned with one by his parents.

Chennai: Will any family celebrate their child’s first birthday at a police station? This family might have had a good reason though because their child had been kidnapped as a newborn but rescued by the cops within a few hours last year.
The couple, Venkatesan (35), and Latha (30) from Singaperumal Koil celebrated the first birthday of their son in this manner. They had one more reason to thank the cops for their swift action since Lokesh, who turned 1 on Monday, was born eight years after they got married.

The couple walked into the Chengelpet town police station on Monday where they met Inspector Lawmake and sought his blessings. A surprised inspector informed ASP Georgy George.
