After reading this link I am totally confused. In the cyber age and getting old the attention span is only so much. I got lost in details.

No problem, same with most everyone. There were many generations and lineages and knowledge. That's exactly, what I wrote in the other post, only Vyasa could have known all thru jnAna dhristi.

Leaving the time period away, the details about tamil kings and the literature on the Mahabharata would be a good reference.
