In rishi ramayana, at once situation, when rama and lakshmana went to gather the food for preparation of pinda, sita herself with the fruits of Ingudhi and Tharpisam (I dont know what they are) provided pinda for dasaratha in their absence. For that she takes evidences such as sacred cow, agni, and palgu river. But, when rama returned and asked them, they hided the truth. Hence, sita cursed cow that the lakshmi will be left from her face and reside in her back. Agni will loose his power to distinguish things and will eat all sort of things. Palgu will become an antharvagini (It will become invisible and the flow is only under the earth).
Then dasaratha with Aja maharaja appeared infront of rama and lakshmana and said them that they already had sufficient food from sita (PINDA).
My question is "Can the daughter-in-law holds the rights of providing pinda to her in-laws?" what sastras are saying about this???
Pranams
