The ancient rishis with their immense wisdom and vast knowledge have propounded various practical and therotical methods for awakening of the soul and realization of every human being of his true self and his potential. Jyothishya or Hora shastra was one amoung the holistic sciences.

The term "Astro-bio-logy" would be more appropriate than Astrology to give an equivalent term to Jyothishya. Astro-bio-logy can be defined as "the study of cosmic influences primarily stellar and planetary sources upon the biosphere comprising of living beings predominantly mankind, due to the flux in their incessant motion(Revolution and rotation) in the cosmic universe".

Perfectly true. By correctly applying the principles of Jyoutish one can realize that believing in the independence of Jeeva is not correct. The karma perspective comes into picture. There will be no hankerings and frustrations because as long as one believes he/she can achieve anything materialistic with their capabilities and believes in luck all the failures and depressions result.

When the principles of Jyotish prove it, everything becomes clear, whatever told in our agamas, puranas, srutis, vedas and scriptures are all true.
