He is anti sonia gandhi though and keeps deriding her, because of her origin and her religious belief. While the country has adopted her 'dil' of the land.

Nice links to reflect upon...

The truth is out there... we hindus look down upon the vedic culture and practices and are ready to blasphemise them at the drop of a hat...

It is easy to stray in this tech-world where luxuries of yore have become "needs"... the mind strives further to achieve these irrespective of culture or religion... who bothers about religion or culture if comfort is the sole aim of living?

But the central point is - are we (the 'we" includes all hindus) ready to live the life as required by our religion and culture? Is it possible in the current scenario? Material goals are all that matter to most... otherwise, they are so wrapped up in self-made cloaks that resist any change to the existing pattern of westernised society...

By this I do not mean that everything and anything western is to be negated... there are +ves and -ves in every culture... but we focus only on the +ves of other culture and the -ves of our culture... this thinking is the aftermath of the british rule; no doubt about that. In this sense, I would say that the british were excellent diplomats and administers who really cared for their nation... so the fact boils down that we are the ones who had been guilty of feebleness all along... right from the moslem invasion to the present day...

For an Indian who looks through the history books which does not glorify much about the vedic period (as it is perceived to be religion associated), it is difficult to comprehend that Indian culture, education, medicine, mathematics, etc., were superior than those of other civilizations...

We have lost the ability of learning and looking through things through our sacred language - sanskrit... most would simply state that it is but a obsolete language... this, for me is the prime reason why we have lost interest in our culture... (quite natural too, for every thought to the world is expressed in a western language)...

If peace, happiness and liberation is the aim of individuals and of the society, then surely people would have appreciated our culture... probably, they do not think so; that is the advantage of being free willed individuals...

We need a silent revolution - determined and one to be lead by example...

S S,come on,give us ourselves a break. For the last 1000 years aliens have invaded us in the form of Islamic Mughals and British White Christians. The Kshatriya Kings just lost to superior fighting force, which were brutal & cunning. Our forefathers just did not have the wherewithal.Lets admit to this first.

It is easy to stray in this tech-world where luxuries of yore have become "needs"... the mind strives further to achieve these irrespective of culture or religion... who bothers about religion or culture if comfort is the sole aim of living?

During Vedic time period,as well as during Islamic Mughal period, some say, bharathians religion & culture were never to be interfered.King Akbar strived to create Din-Ilahi,a hindu-muslim religious concept.Even though i wonder why he did it,as Guru Nanak had already done that.

We may not be following to the tee exactly, but with changed rules,we still cherish the values as explained in scriptures, and follow it in life.

Ditto dat.

Big mistake done after 1947.Our leaders political as well as religious, should have exposed us to vedic teachings. But then after 1000 years of islamic & christian tyranny put together, its a miracle our vedic culture is still intact. Its a brilliant teamwork of all brahmins, kshatriyas, vaishyas, shudras.

We have lost the ability of learning and looking through things through our sacred language - sanskrit... most would simply state that it is but a obsolete language... this, for me is the prime reason why we have lost interest in our culture... Its definitely one of the main reason,if NOT the reason.

If peace, happiness and liberation is the aim of individuals and of the society, then surely people would have appreciated our culture... probably, they do not think so; that is the advantage of being free willed individuals...

We need a silent revolution - determined and one to be lead by example...

The fact, that websites are chattering with these ideas itself a silent revolution.Satyameva Jayate.
