We have barely reached the end of the first half of 2014 and we already have seen an influx of cheap devices: From the Moto E to the Xiaomi Mi Pad to the HP Slate 7, these devices pack specifications that are unlike any in their price bracket.

Toshiba seems to be wanting to join in on the fun and it has unveiled the Excite Go tablet, which defying the general trend in it’s price bracket, offers Google’s latest and greatest, Android Kitkat. Toshiba is following the lead of the Moto E smartphone in offering Kitkat goodness at such a low price.

Underneath, there is an Intel Atom Quad-Core processor, which we reckon will hold up for day-today usage with the occasional lag.

Toshiba reckons that it’s battery will last for up to 8 hours of normal usage.

It has a mediocre 7 inch 1024*600 screen. Content will appear pixellated on it, but well, it is a $110 device: Compromises have to be made.

The storage offered is 16GB, which is probably enough for you, unless you are a power user. If that isn’t enough, you can expand it to a hefty 128GB via SDXC cards..

It will cost $110. Step away HP, the new king of the sub $150 tablet category is here. It offers a faster processor, better battery life and more storage capacity than HP’s Slate 7. If you are in the market for a tablet with a budget of around $100, we recommend the Toshiba Excite Go.

Like mobile phones, tablet market too will become crowded and competitive. Survival will be difficult for some.

Obama, his wife, Hillary Clinton, Cameron and a few more leaders still use blackberry, a company straggling to survive.

Obama, his wife, Hillary Clinton, Cameron and a few more leaders still use blackberry, a company straggling to survive.

That's mainly because of the stringent security inbuilt in Blackberry devices which is the best among contemporary devices! That it has passed the white house test is a great achievement!
