[h=6](Image Credit: Engadget)[/h] One of the fastest commercially available internet speeds are offered by Google Fiber. Google Fiber is available to a privileged few areas and is in the process of rolling out slowly. Soon, we may see Google Fibre spread out over the world.

Even as this is happening, a report from The Information states that Google is planning to launch it’s very own mobile network in those areas where it has launched Fiber.
Rumors state that Google will be using Verizon’s widespread mobile network as a base for its own network

Google is a stark advocate of net-neurality. it wants to get rid of customer-unfriendly operators, money focused companies, etc. Google wants the internet to be available to everyone, fairly.

If Google does roll out its own mobile network. maybe it will save us from the speed bottlenecks, high rates and poor customer service currently plaguing US mobile carriers.
However, Google does make new developments and inventions day-by-day and most of them are just kind of an experiment. They are scrapped after sometime. Google’s mobile network too may be just that, a pipe dream. If such a thing is in development, Google can anytime swoop in and kill it.

Google Fibre and the above-mentioned Google’s mobile network is the latest in Google’s three-pronged approach: It’ s hardware, i.e the Nexus line already flies off the shelves. It’s software, Android, powers most of the phones on this planet. And Google Fibre, will be Google’s approach towards powering your mobile device’s network itself, effectively controlling most aspects of all smartphones.
