In another thread, it was mentioned TED talks are outstanding and that is where every one should learn.

You got conned.
This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences.

TEDx is a parody of TED talks. They are independent of TED, and are arranged at local level.

But even that talk is 10 times more entertaining than the one I commented on in the thread who will save Hinduism.

TEDx is not a parody (http://www.dictionary.com/browse/parody) of TED [but the talk is a parody] talk as you can see from here
