Expecting India in this! Definitely! We slog the highest! There is no doubt!

Millennials have been labelled lazy and unproductive but a new report suggests the opposite may be true.

Those who were 18-34 in 2015, who will make up a third of the global workforce by 2020, expect to work longer hours and retire much later than previous generations, according to Manpower's Millennial Careers: 2020 Vision.

The working week

Results from more than 19,000 millennials in 25 countries suggest that the traditional 40-hour week is a thing of the past – almost three quarters of young people are working more than 40 hours a week.

Nearly a quarter work more than 50, with young Indians working the longest -- 52 hours. Millennials in Mexico, China and Singapore are working 48 hours a week. A quarter globally had two or more jobs.

I have another aspect to look at it. Earlier times, the time you spend at office is considered as work. That concept has undergone drastic change now a days. Many MNCs provide leisure/relaxation time (like gym yoga meditation etc) in between for staff so as to increase efficiency. So the time spent at office can not actually be counted as work. Social media activity now a days in between work also eat up a lot of time. What I mean to say is the time spent at does not mean you work that many hours and hence cannot directly co related with productivity/output.

But the present days you are working from home, restaurants, theaters, etc.
You hooked by your phone. So the total number of hours can not be counted. I see younger people put in almost 80 hours a week.
So it works both ways.
