Bihar is in the grip of terror raj': Fear descends on state as two BJP netas are murdered in the space of 24 hours

In another instance of growing lawlessness in Bihar, two BJP leaders, including a party vice-president, were gunned down in the state.

Visheshwar Ojha, who was the vice-president of the Bihar BJP and had contested the 2015 Assembly elections from the Shahpur constituency in Bhojpur district, was shot dead by unidentified criminals at Sonbarsha Bazar in Ara on Friday.

Ojha’s killing took place less than 24 hours after another BJP leader Kedar Singh was gunned down under Taraiya police station in Saran district.

Kedar was returning from his sister’s house in Mashrakh on Thursday night when the assailants fired on him near Gandar bridge on the National Highway-73.

Bihar is back to Goonda Raj and mafia Raj...The person who is the defacto CM is Lalu! Nitish should be squirming in his seat, I guess!

I am not surprised ! I had lived in Patna during 1986-87, when we saw two police constables escorting an accused were shot at in broad day light in a busy Gandhi Maidan road at 12 noon - the accused boarded a two wheeler and escaped, leaving the police constable profusely bleeding. At that time Jagannath Mishra was the CM of Bihar. When Lalu Prasad Yadav was the CM, my friends told that un-licenced revolvers were freely available in Bihar. Law & order was improving during the previous regime of Nitish Kumar - unfortunately those gains have been lost on account of the electoral alliance between Nitish Kumar & Lalu. God save our country & God save Bihar, which was historically the seat of peace loving Buddha & seat of learning - Nalanda university.

Even some 25 years before, Biharis used to visit Banks with gunmen (body guards) to obtain bigger loans.

One could not understood at that time whether gunmen were for their personal safety or to threaten the loan sanctioning authorities.

Tamilnadu is considered to be one of the law abiding states, Even here, frequent political murders are happening.

But Bihar politics is always in the hands of criminals and tainted people.
