Sea Bath or Samudra Snanam and Tharpanam at other than Rameswaram

Kanyakumari is a good place to have sea bath and do Amavasai tharpanam as Bay of Bengal, Arabian sea, and Indu maga sagar are converging there.
 
Normally Samudra snanam is not suggested in all beaches.only wholy places are selected In Tamilnadu except <br>sethu snaanam thirupullani is one of the places for samudra snanam.  We dont enter into samudra snanam directly. <br>\before going to samudra snanam we have to take bath near by well pond or river.  since without madi  purifying oursrlves with poorva snanam we are  not eligilble to do samudra snanam.  after that we have to do sankalpam for stmudra snanam then nnly we have samudra snanam.  In Rameswaram there are 24 punya theertham is available.  after taking bath in  koti theertham we should not take bath in any other theertham.  so in Rameswaram after taking agni theertha snanam  we ca take punya theerth snnam.   You should remember that samudra theertham is not recomended to do aachamanam.   Except in wholy sethu thirupullani Devi patnam all other samudra beaches are not recomended to do snaanam for all days,  only punya kalam is recomended to do samudra snanam,  Rajappa Namakkal
