Nothing new, it is the same old stuff eaten in countries like China, and Japan... namely bugs, worms, reptiles and bats eaten as 'exotic food'... but why is America and the West going gaga over it these days? Seems the food channel in USA is all about such 'foods' nowadays... with frequent shows featuring some Western 'food expert' 'relishing' his 'meal' of bugs! Hope this bug-fever does not catch up over coming decades with the rest of the West such that we would expect to see fried termites and live Octopuses being served in the Non-Veg section of some fanciful restaurant? People, won't you wake up?

(The fever has seen to taken some 'momentum' after the show in USA's 'Shark Tank' featuring a man manufacturing 'Protein Bars' from crushed 'Crickets'!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttehcPYX-wU).
