Android Wear officially gets Lollipop Update: WearWatchfaces are here

Some weeks ago, Phandroid had leaked the details of AndroidLollipop for Wearable Devices, and now Google has officially announced the Update.
The first major change is the opening up of the WatchfaceAPI for developers to make third-party Watchfaces, which will be hitting thePlay Store in their own Separate section.
While Developers were able to create Watchfaces forAndroid Wear before, with the new API, Watchface Creation has become simpler, more streamlined and also making those Watchfaces themselves more powerful.
Google has kickstarted this process with Watchfaces fromBrands such as Red Bull, Porsche, Pac Man etc.
The Android Wear Companion App is also being updated toensure easy accessibility and installation of Watchfaces.
You can also bring back cards that you accidentallydismissed, which is a feature that has been requested by many. With TheaterMode and Sunlight Mode, you can push the Screen to minimum or maximumBrightness with one tap.
Also, instead of having to swipe up to access your Apps, you can get to them without swiping as soon as the screen is turned on. Swipingdown from the top will now also make the most-used Buttons Appear.
You can also block notifications from Apps directly fromyour Watch.
The Updates have started to be pushed out, and yourDevice may receive the Update soon. Since Android Wear is more restrictive thanAndroid, we may expect Update Penetration to be much quicker

my google nexus 7 tab upgraded by itself to lollipop a month ago. it has become very sluggish and hangs often. normal remedies - removal of unwanted apps and factory reset have not helped. I am now forced to go into diagnostic mode for possible solution. google forums are flooded with this problem and root solutions - at your risk. afraid android is going the windows way.
