Grahapravesam

I had a small confusion. I plan to do grahapravesam and consulted an astrologer. He has given the date and fixed the time between 9.15 to 10.15 in the morning. He specifically told to do milk warming ceramony between 9.15 to 10.15 and then to start all the poojas/homams. But sasthirigal (vaathiyar) is insisting to do the poojas/homams first and then to do the milk warming ceramony at the fixed time. Can anyone clarify which is correct?

I have shifted places/houses a number of times in the last 35 years. We find a suitable date and time for doing milk Warming and do it on that day and time. This time is set by the astrologer.

After the milk warming Pujas and Homas are conducted. Grahapravesam has to be done during the auspicious time. Milk warming is considered Grahapravesam. The pujas and homas are only additional rites which are not mandatory. Please follow the advice of the astrologer.

Strictly speaking you can not do the homa/puja without first doing Grahapravesam.
