Thread: Shradh

Namaste all,

When are the proper times to perform shradh for deceased parents? Is it just for the father, or the mother too? I am an only child (son) so it is my duty to do this when the time comes. I know, it's not good to discuss this type of thing about my parents, but I just want to be prepared. I love them dearly and want to help them get to the pitriloka. Thank you.
