Sri Dakshina Moorthy and Navagrahas

1. I am chanting "Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu Guru Devo Maheshwara Guru Sakshat Param Brahma Tasmai Shri Gurave Namah " 108 times everyday while I am in the bus .Is this a complete Stotram? What are the poojas we can do for Sri Dakshina Moorthy ? or is there any better suggestion. This question raised because the position of Guru in my chart is not favourable.

2. Can we do abeshegam for Navagrahas ? If yes which day is preferable? This question raise in my mind when one of my friend told me that we must not do abeshegam for Navagrahas and we must only light Agal vilakku on Thursdays.

Please advice me accordingly.Thanking you in advance.

Today being Thursday i.e Guru's day you have asked this question and it is apt for you .
I am not an astrologer to give u specific remedies for your problem . So consult a good astrologer for this if you want very specific details .
But people here to satisfy Guru go to the Local Shiva Temple every Thursday , light a Ghee Lamp in Front of Sri Dakshinamurti and do an archanai with Bilva leaves to Sri Dakshinamurti.

If you do not have such a facility to do every Thursday , I suggest that you get yourself a Picture of Sri Dakshinamurty ,keep it facing South , light a ghee lamp in front of it and Chant 108 names of Sri Dakshinamurti and Adi Shankara's Sri Dakshinamurti Stotram .It is better to do this daily if you have time to receive Adi Guru Sri Dakshinamurti's blessings .Note this is just my own suggestion .It acts as a daily prayer as well as can act as a positive cover for ur problem whatever you are facing due to a weak Guru .

Note : There are various types of Sri Dakshinamurti - Medha Dakshina Murti , Prajna Dakshinamurti etc etc and just take one Picture and one version of 108 names of Sri Dakshinamurti to start with .

Whether in a horoscope Guru or Jupiter is well placed or not, you must seek the blessing of all Gurus including Sri Dakshinamoorthy all time in life. Respect all Gurus with devotion. Astrological remedy includes chanting the stotra for Guru - "Devanaamcha......". Alternatively, you can do recommended 'pariharam' at Thiruchendur Murugan temple suitably. Guru is natural benefic and he will guide you in enduring any ill-effect.

sir
you can add "Guruve sarva Lokanam bijashe bhava rokhinam, nidhaya sarva vidhyanaam shiri Dakshnamoorthaye namaha! Sadasiva samarambam sankaracharya madhyamam! Asmath acharya paryandhaam vandhe Guru Parambaram! Guru saranaaravindhayapyam namaha!

Sorry, i may please be corrected because the script is in English.

Guruve Saranam ! Guruve Saranam.

Lord Guru (Brihaspati or Jupiter)

Deva-naam cha Rishi Naam cha Gurum kaanchana sannibham,

Adi Shankaracharya has composed an Ashtakam on Lord Dakshinamurthy (the Lord of Jnana). Dakshinamurthy Ashtakam (or Astakam). In this hymn he praises and invokes the blessings of the Lord.Dakshinamurthy is Lord Shiva's another incarnation. He is assumed as 'guru' or teacher of knowledge and wisdom.

Dakshinamurthy Ashtakam is a powerful Stotra. You may chant the hymns and pray the Lord. If you know the inner meaning and philosophy of the hymn then you may be able to appreciate the philosophy.

Sir,

This ashtakam sums up the advaitic philosophy. Many scholars have written commentaries on it. The Lotd , younger than
the four disciples, taiught them through silence ( mouna vaakyena ). As Bhagawan Ramana Says, Silence is the best teacher.

Lord Guru (Brihaspati or Jupiter)

Deva-naam cha Rishi Naam cha Gurum kaanchana sannibham,

Buddhi Bhootam Trilokesham Tam Namaami Brihaspatim

Dear Madam,

Navagraha Guru is different from Lord Dakshinamurthy who is Lord Shiva himself and who taught advaita to the
four sanakathi munivars through silence, because polemics will not carry you to the Self within.

Navagraha – Guru Gayathri Mantra (Jupiter)

Chanting of Navagraha Guru Gayathri has its own benefits. The Guru Gayathri mantra
if chanted regularly and sincerely, especially by children, education will be very good
and one can attain high level of intellect. One can derive the benefit of mental
satisfactions and it also paves way to the youngsters who arelooking for marriages
and child birth. During Guru bukthi or thisai, or during guru peyarchi periods it can be
chanted, preferably before sunset on Thursdays. However, it depends on the time
available varying from 9, 11, 108, or 1008 times.
Aum Surachaaryaaya Vidmahe
Dheva Poojayaaya Dhimahee

OR
