    Sri Raghy,

Things are definitely changing here. May be you had a bad personal experience. But at the same time, there is no revolutionary change happening.

All the sub sects within the TB community were always living in harmony only. They never fought with each other. Now need for more unity is being felt by all these people and definitely more accommodative approach is there.

There was never a single command leadership for the entire TB community but things have started happening at local levels silently. Our Swayamvaram etc are only adding further value to these efforts. Most of the poorer and downtrodden sections of our community here doesn't have computer, internet etc. But things are changing for the better. We are also thinking of how to bring everybody into our efforts.

I wrote earlier mainly because nothing has to be said to create divisions within our community.

Let us hope for the best

It is very strange to see so much differences of opinions among Iyengar..and Iyer...
    Hari Vs Hara syndrome.

    Just recite :Hariharaatmajam Devamashraye.

Have you read my message properly? I out of inclusive notions approached a brahacharanam Iyer in Thiru Anaikka and one Vadama iyer in Madurai. I did not write everything said by the Thiru Anaikka Iyer. This was not long before... only recently (in fact, I am still seeking a good alliance; he is young, so I am not in a hurry). My proposal was rejected since I carry the 'Iyengar' tag. As you can see, I am not exclusive.

I think i wrote it incorrectly. Its my mistake.Plz excuse me.

Raghy,if my daughter is of marriage age,i would have considered, your alliance even though you are Iyengar. To me the definition of brahmin,is entirely different. But,i yield to society, and move on. I wish to congratulate organisers of swayamvaram, and may god abundant grace be on the families, and marriage take place, spreading peace, happiness, wealth, health to our community.

    Sri.Nachi Naga,

Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate it. By the way, there is a thread by the name 'who is brahmanan' in the 'General Discussions' section. When you have some spare time, kindly read that please.

    Cheers!

thank u so much for ur reply..........................wht u said is reality.. we can criticize easily...but understanding is difficult..
conducting swayamvarams in tamil nadu with meagre 3% of
our community population...many wants destroy our community
entirely in tamil nadu.. still we survive...by GOD's grace...

SAIRAM ALL Tambrams. Our site is dedicated to Tamilbrahmins and not tamiliyengar or tamiliyers, etc. Then why distinguish, discrimnate or divide making ourselves a laughing stock for other waiting for such an opportunity? World itself is becoming smaller and we, a neglected and ignored and uncared community should unite ourselves. Let us not discuss issues like 'hate Iyengar' 'hate iyer'. Pleaaaase. Let us try to HELP EVER and HURT NEVER. Already the Sponsorors and Organisers are rendering yeomen service. Lets try to do our bit like Anil did to Lord Rama.
GREETINGS, THANKS AND REGARDS TO ALL.

.................................................. ......................... Since we are isolated and targeted, we are getting more and more united.

Let each follow their philosophies - no problem.

I request people ................................... not to bring this issue into our forum please.

    All the best

I go with the unity sentiments expressed. The efforts should be to seal the fissures,if any-- not to create new fissures.

Vested interests ,sometimes feeling disappointed seeing their ploys are not successful ,may still renew their tricks to create differences and divisions,by opening up various and varied topics, but basically with only one aim-- to thwart any unity .

(This is happening to the Nation also.Whenever unity dialogues are started and any peace effort initiated, vested interests thwart it by acting and speaking in sch a way that suspicion and distrust occur ).

So now we have come to learn the tricks .. Let us defeat the vested interests.

    Greetings.
