Religion is a tool to shape mind of an abstract kind.Obviously it gives peace of mind.Indians have many schools of religious thoughts, codefied as vedantham.Kalki Bhagavan and his wife known as Amma, are also one of the kind. They are successful,in their enterprise.I congratulate Kalki Bhagavan and Amma, for their genuine religious beliefs and imparting knowledge as they feel fit.Its their right to do so,even though i have never been to their darshan personally.Thank you !.

Shree Lakshmivaragan,
When Lord Krishna was born and alive, not all accepted him as swayam Lord Vishnu.Only those who had the praptham to understand just were totally in rapturous devotion of him.
Even now in present India,we have such avatars who diligently invoke bhakthi. But all people do not understand this nor are able to see the divinity in all its splendour.
For some people Kalki Bhagavan and Amma are incarnation of Sriman Narayan and Maha Lakshmi Thayar.
Aham Brahmasmi means i am not this body but a divine spirit soul, which is what each and every one us are in reality sir.Thank you!.

There is a small difference.Aham Brhmaasmi denotes that Brahmam is a common thread in everybody.Nobody can claim exclusivity to it.The so called modern Gurus ,I am not referring to any individual proclaim that only they are the avatars etc.In Shatpadi stotram,Adisankara has simply explained the concept that many waves and tides constitute the Ocean, but Ocean is not a tide or a wave.Similarly He extols Bhagawan that He belongs to Bhagawan and and not otherwise, because Bhagawan is infinite and cannot be restricted to any individual.
Coming to Avatars,if we go according to scripures there cannot be any avatars now of Mahavishnu, some Upasakas may be having abundant grace of God,but cannot be extolled as Avatars -

Exactly. I fully agree with your views. If everybody claims that they are God, then there is no end to it. All of us belong to God. But each one of us cannot claim to be God.

Sir,avatar means a divine ascent or descent either from the pata-loka or from the 27 nakshatra constellations or it could be from navagrahams actually 7 grahams or different galaxy or solar system or...vaikundam or kailasham...heaven...etc
We all are divine and we all have the same potential of becoming swayam bhagavan.Only few people realise this or work towards acheiving moksha arthartham, based on their gunam, varnam ,jadhi,sankalpam,smaranam...Some are born with avatric abilities with no effort on their part owing to purva janma vasanams and some keep doing sadhanams to acheive liberation from birth and death of this material body and samskaram.
Bhagavan is all pervading and limitless and infinite. But in order for humans to believe and understand, bhagavan takes avataram swaroopam,to show us the path towards liberation. When we surrender ourselves to bhagavan as sranagathi, the praptham of moksham,is given to us by bhagavan, within whom the entire jagath is contained.
Aham brahmasmi,as taught by gurus to me,'we are not deham but punya-atmam' to attain punya-padukam of bhagavan or param-brahmam,sir.
THank you.

Avataranam literally means descending. However any one to be an avatara has to satisfy certain criteria to qualify to be called Avatara. We are fascinated by certain individuals because of the grace we had thro them. That I said is possible for any uttama upasakas to have some divine grace because of their upasana. But that will not make them avatara. The concept itself is learnt from scriptures. The Scriptures also define avatara which is the guidance for us.They should have unlimited powers as displayed by Bhagawan Krishna and not just sheer siddhis with upasana like producing Vibhuthi and other items
Let me share some info on some recent lady upasaka in Chennai. Her followers even claim she is the manifestation of Akhilandeshvari and proclaim even the great Mahaperiyava prostrated before her which I felt was far fetched because I have heard Mahaperiyava mention his janmam was so worthless that he was made to be unfit even to prostrate before anyone due to so many reasons which he felt he was not blessed to be recipient of anyone's grace.I therefore felt the claim was sheer nonsense.Hence Iam always sceptical about these so called avataras -

Spritual frauds are most common today. Believing in God is ok, but when it comes to believing Godmen, one has to be extremely careful. When it comes to God, blind faith ok but when it comes to Godmen, one has to apply rationalistic mind.
If a Godmen can bring a `Mango' out of thin air, let him go and open a `Mango shop' & prosper. Why they cheat innocent public?
The so called `Kalki Baghavan' is literally sitting in a glass enclosure. We have read about past avatars of Lord Mahavishnu. He takes Narasimha Avatar to fullfil the request of a Child devotee Prahlad. Late Mukkur Lakshminarasimhachariar use to tell in his discourses that if we have complete faith in Lord Mahavishnu like Prahlad and call him, he will make an avatar instantaneously right infront of us. He use to say our faith is not total like Prahlad.
Why Lord Mahavishnu has to go inside a glass enclosure ?. In all the avatars, he showes his bravery. He also makes avatars in various forms and not restricts himself only to human form.
I earnestly feel that those who believe in the so called `Kalki Baghavan' are degrading Lord Mahavishnu

re
Shree suvarchas,
Descending as used with a point of reference,in the geographical sense. We assume bhu-lokam as a reference point comparing it with other galaxies or solar systems.
Lord Krishna was not accepted by all.By his own uncle Kamsan, who wished to kill him.How do i know this? Was i alive to witness this? But,its faith. Is it possible to question ones faith?
The siddhis are done to ensnare a person,to show the margam towards bhakthi.Thats the motive. Its to liberate or obtain moksham. Not for self-promotion,as i know of the siddhars and other avatarams in worldover.
Sir,Parama Guru Paramacharyar or Maha Periyavar, sets standards.Has he been accepted by one and all? It's our faith, which makes us quote him ever often, but i honestly write,i am a bad example of calling myself as ,sishya of the 'the enlightened one',i know it,as i realise it now.But his divinity is such,he blessed even a worthless person like me,who has not contributed like Newton or Einstein or Copernicus, or Aryabhattar...etcLet me share some info on some recent lady upasaka in Chennai. Her followers even claim she is the manifestation of Akhilandeshvari and proclaim even the great Mahaperiyava prostrated before her which I felt was far fetched because I have heard Mahaperiyava mention his janmam was so worthless that he was made to be unfit even to prostrate before anyone due to so many reasons which he felt he was not blessed to be recipient of anyone's grace.I therefore felt the claim was sheer nonsense.Hence Iam always sceptical about these so called avataras
For all i know, the devi has incarnated in chennai, and i do not have the praptham to understand the divinity of the lady.In my experiance,i have come to accept, all of us are divine inherently, and at times we lose our balance,do some idiotic karma.Thank you.

You are right that Mahaperiyava might not be accepted by everybody. But his greatness did not need any certification.Had he ever proclaimed that so and so came for seeking my blessings or Iam the avatar of Siva/Rama or Krishna? He just went about doing his work.
For all that we know he would even dissuade anybody extolling him as an Avatar. To my knowledge he would only deprecate himself on many occasions.
He used to say that the quality of Shishyas would determine the worthiness of Guru.He would then say that in those days of yore only great enlightened souls were the sishyas to the Gurupeetam Hence vivat simhams like Adisankara/Vidyaranya were adorning the peethas. He would then say in accordance with current times a mere ignoramus like him had come to adorn the Peetha.Thats what set him apart from everybody
