seriously, if you could provide more details, it might be of use to the younger folks here, as to what the basic qualifications that you are looking for, and what is the career path in HR for such.

i request you this, only because, there might be folks here, who are not all that familiar with prospects re careers in HR, which has come a long way, from the old 'hire and fire department', to a sophisticated stand alone career that it is today.

We are a startup HR Consulting Firm-predominantly into Recruitment catering clients in IT Space.

Here Clients denote Software Companies to whom we provide manpower services.

Most of the HR Consulting firms ( Kelly , Manpower ,Stanton Chase etc) have built fortunes out of Recruitment.

Though the discussion of whether HR is strategic to any firm is an enigma,not many prefer HR since its not LUCRATIVE,unlike other areas.

As a matter of fact it has become a more sophisticated "hire and fire department". The HR department is just a cat's paw..

bestest wishes to you for success. this is a great field and takes very little capital to start.

the same goes for janitorial services. i have a friend in mumbai, who was an indian airlines flight attendent. during the course of flying she used to meet businessmen, and one complaint they all had was the absence of reliable cleaning services ie folks who came after hours, cleaned the washrooms, and filled the paper towels + someone during the day, who tidies up the washroom and empties the bins.

yes she is a successful businessperson today and doing extremely well.

Thank You Very Much.

I am also planning to start a free career counselling session centers in smaller towns and cities to enable students from these areas to know of the oppurtunities available.

Its really disheartening to see bright students from rural areas work in unskilled jobs ,either due to absence of proper guidance or due to economical conditions.

I hope members of this forum would extend their help to me in setting up this centers to serve desrving students.
