Namaskarams.

As ordained by Kanchi Kamakoti Sankaracharya swamigal, Hindu samaya Manram and janaKalyan are organising a samashti Upanayanam in Chennai on sunday ,May 23rd, 2010 for deserving brahmin boys below age 15.

The expenses for a boy are calcualted as Rs 8000
out of which Rs major expenses are Rs 2100 for Homam, shamiyana, Rs 1800 for meals to the families of Vadus, Rs 1000 is the Vadhyar sambhavanai.

Namaskaram. My name is Ganesh. I want to conduct Upanayanam for my son through Samashti Upanayanams conducted through our community services. We have plan to do th function between Jan 2011 and June 2011. Since I want to do on strictly on customs basis with out being as social function as per our Kanji Periyava. community service...in samasthi upanayanam...we had vadus from smarthas/vaishnavas / and madvas too...try to contact him...
